The guitar and accessories all have wear/tear from being used over the last 60 years most items need TLC and cleaning or minor repair. Below I will give details about each piece to my best knowledge, but I dont know much myself. The Guitar As stated before, Im not an expert. However, I plugged the guitar into an amplifier (standard ¼ jack) and it played fine and clearly. Theres 8 strings on each head and all work well (could use a tuning of course). The only number I see on it is 00607 engraved underneath.
When you flip the switch in the middle that has 3 positions, it does 3 different things in one position only one set of strings work (the other is muted), in another position only the other set of strings work, and in the 3. The two silver knobs turn freely though I couldnt hear much of a difference when doing so and Im not sure what they are supposed to do exactly.Underneath the wiring looks old and could use some cleaning up. The cables underneath that have little pulleys (for using pedal system) are all in tact but might need some lubrication or adjustments.
The guitar has many scuffs, discoloration, small dents, and dust in those hard-to-get places (the main dirt is underneath where the strings are attached and tuned if you take the strings off, you should be able to easily wipe it off but its hard to get down in there with the strings on). Some of the chrome-colored pieces have discoloration or minor surface rust from age (the 2 tone knobs, the tuning parts, and the 2 removable plates at the bottom of the strings). Please see pictures for cosmetic details and consider it part of the description. I did my best to honestly describe it it looks like it was used and traveled with regularly! Pedals all 8 pedals and the 8 rods have light surface rust in places and could use cleaning.
All parts for the pedals seem to be there and the hardware seems solid. I put each rod into the pedal and moved them up and down and they seemed to work as they should. Im not sure where they are supposed to connect exactly on the underneath side of the guitar, but it appears to work fine.
The wood has scratches, scuffs and wear. There is one small wing nut missing on the end where it attaches to the stand legs. Stand Legs all 4 legs have light surface rust and some are difficult to turn and extend (I could only get 2 legs to extend, and the other 2 seemed stuck). You will want to clean the legs and loosen them up, not sure if they will need any work. Some are more stuck than others, definitely havent been extended in years. The Feet of the legs have little rubber covers which are beginning to peel off.
The legs still screw into bottom of guitar as they should and support it without a problem. Cases Both original cases are included (one for guitar and one for pedal system). They both function and open/ close as they should. Both have heavy wear, discoloration inside, felt peeling off, etc. There are scrapes and marks all over the outside of each case. However the hardware still fastens and you can carry them around as they are right now! There is also a soft pouch that holds the guitar legs and rods. Feel free to ask any questions!
