Up for sale is a really cool and versatile amplifier from Line 6.... The Spider V 20 watt! This is the next (groundbreaking) step in the evolution and improvement of the Spider series. While I wouldn't call it completely different from its predecessors, dare I say it is even better? And like its previous iterations, super duper fun, by the way!
You've got all the building blocks to build your own useable and practical sound. Up to 200 available amp/sound models! And on this amp you can make up to and save at least 14 of your very own presets! That what really makes it fu. NOTE : Line 6 Spider's are traditionally known to cater to metal heads and hard rockers, and this unit is no different.
So if you are a "clean freak", this amp might not be for you. Unless you are very tech savvy and can navigate guitar related software very easily....So you can adjust the onboard presets using Line 6's software on their website. So, to fulfill the full potential of this amp, you really should be a tweaker.
But at the same time, an old-school dinosaur like me can figure out how to customize this amp to the best of its ability! Of course, I feel that this amp is tailored more to musicians who own Apple / Iphone products.
I have android, so I can't get the most out of the map as I'd like to. Then round out your sound with up to 200 available very adequate and useful effects....Modulations, delays and reverb that are adjustable with their own dedicated knobs. Think of it like having several Line 6 tonecore pedals.... Echo park, space chorus, verbzilla, etc. All at the touch of your fingers! With 8 speaker specially voiced for Line 6. No conventional guitar amp, Line 6 spec'd the Spider V 20 MkII with a custom-designed guitar speaker. The benefit here is your amp will sound fantastic with electric and acoustic guitars, modeled amps, and effects. And with 20 watts of power, you'll have no problem cranking the volume on your Line 6 Spider V 20 MkII.
This amp is great for the gigging musician as stated before, especially in a smaller venue like a coffee house. But mic it up and you really won't need anything else as far as amplification! It's actually VERY loud for a 20 watt "practice" amp!It will also hold it's own at rehearsal, as long as you don't have the loudest arse drummer in the Universe. Yet it can also be quiet enough for home practice. Or you can utilize the built in headphone jack. We'll see if we can get you a reasonable quote.
