Vintage jet riser VJR9 is the legendary effector jet riser JL70 from the 70's. Based on the effector knowledge and technology that maxon has cultivated, it is a unique effector that has been arranged in a modern style. It was equipped with jet sound source of new development. The internally generated jet sound source is processed by a VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier)?? And a VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter) that operate according to the signal level of the input sound source such as a guitar. The processed jet sound source is mixed with the input sound source such as guitar, and the BBD analog flanger produces a jet sound. A wide range of effects can be obtained, from heavy and deep jet sounds that cannot be achieved with a compact effector combination, to chorus-like tremolo sounds. You can turn the jet sound ON/OFF by using an external foot switch. When the jet sound is OFF, it can also be used as a flanger. Equipped with DC/DC converter and internal voltage stabilization circuit. You can always get a stable jet sound without being affected by voltage drops or AC voltage fluctuations due to battery exhaustion. The flanger section uses a high-performance NR consisting of a high-quality VCA and RMS level sensor to achieve high dynamic range and low noise. High headroom gives a clean flanging effect without distortion. It can also be connected to the effect loop (+4dB/-20dB) of a guitar amplifier. We adopted TBS (True Bypass Switching) by 4PDT mechanical switch. When bypassed, it becomes a true bypass state that does not pass through any electronic circuits, and the sound does not deteriorate.
