POLYTONE MINI S15L AMP, SOLID STATE JAZZ AMP, 1X15, 2 CHANNELS, REVERB, DISTORTION, MODULATION. If you are a Jazz Guitar or Bass Player, Accordion or Steel Guitar Slide master you know about Polytone Amps..... And or if you are old enough to remember "Solid State" as a good thing. This is a great jazz amp with 2 independent channels and awesome sounding modulator. This is from what's known as Polytones "best years".

Very reliable amp and with the 15" speaker, it just brings out "the tone. This is a Solid State jazz amp with 2 independent channels, each with switchable bass, mid, treble, distortion and volume controls. On each channel there is an EQ slider going from Bright to Normal to Dark creating general EQ's for those positions which you then adjust with the knobs.

It also has built in reverb and modulator effects along with hi and low level inputs. It has a heavy duty 15 inch speaker. Foot pedal jacks are on the rear for channel switching, reverb, distortion and modulation. It also has an external output jack.

Effects work on one channel while reverb is on both. The distortion sounds best when you just crack it and it adds a nice fullness to the sound like a good pedal would.

That's a great tone. There is an Octave control as well and that only engages when the amp is turned up a bit. At low volumes, you really don't hear it. For a Polytone (known for its simplicity) this amp has a lot of offer the vintage or more modern player. The Unit weighs 40 Pounds, 19" x 22" x 12 110 watts RMS into 2 Ohms.

This Polytone Mini S15L Amp is a used item in VG condition. There are no major dings, marks or issues with this amp but you will see some rusting on some of the chrome parts, some general corner wear and it does show some normal surface wear and age.

No rips is the covering or grille. Electronics are sound with slide controls moving smoothly and no noise in pots. The modulation and distortion controls can be clicked Off when turned fully counterclockwise.
