Rare Vintage 1965 Gibson Vanguard Combo Amplifier GA-77 RET. Md in USA

  

Up for sale is a super cool, classic and very hard to find tube amp by Gibson.... All of Gibson's amplifiers are very underrated, IMHO. This one is no exception.

2 pairs of inputs for a total of 4. The 1st set of 2 is your basic and simple tube amp channel. With low, mid and high controls to tailor your sound. It stayed pretty clean like maybe Vox-y?

Up until about volume level 7 with our Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Jr. At about 7, depending on your guitar, the amp starts to bark with quality overdrive!

And like any excellent tube amp will do, it cleans up with the counter clockwise twist of your guitar's volume knob and/or with a lighter picking attack! Switch over to the lower pair of inputs and you've pretty much got the other channel, but enhanced with anabolic substances....

Like the 1st set, it starts to growl on about volume 7... Cleans up like it should and also has a 3 frequency parametric EQ set, which includes a treble control that you can keep in the off position so you can play "jazz" as Gibson states! What also makes this "channel" more sophisticated is the onboard reverb / echo and 3 mode tremolo with depth and frequency controls.

Neither are currently working, sadly. To compensate, we are including a nice BRAND NEW delay pedal by Behringer....

Don't snub your nose at it.... It is one quality pedal and pairs really well with the GA-77 RET! I've owned another one of these previously so I know that those onboard effects sound really good!

So this amp would be great for someone who is familiar with fixing those "oil can" reverbs and tremolos! On top of that, I think a certain guitarist from the Eagles bought my other amp! You know, the one who's name rhymes with "Moe Balsh"? I'm sure there are plenty of Moe Balshes that live in Beverly Hills, CA!
